Students sometimes think that learning has to be boring. It has to be a teacher talking, with students listening, and with no interaction. Whilst it is important to have parts of a lesson like this, learning a language should be an interactive and student-centred activity: you should do most of the work!
For example, at Leeds Language Academy, we have the Afternoon Clubs.
These 'clubs' are really classes, but give students the chance to practice their language skills, speaking, reading, writing and listening and do something fun. It helps students to see that English is something to be used, not just to be learnt.
At Leeds Language Academy, we believe that using English is the best way to learn, and that fun tasks help students to be more engaged and motivated to learn. Come and try the difference for yourself!
